      Dear Syed,
      3rd & 4th Engineer are Ranks on board ship... if you had acquired WKE than it is sufficient to get job for that rank.

    Hi admin. . Sekiranya saya da coc tuk mate domestik 500gt (terhad) apakah peranan atau pangkat saya sekarang . .saya bekerja dtugboat saja. . Ble ka saya jadi second officer tau stakat jurumudi saja ??

    Hi, renew it online at SDPx. Print Application (with Reference no). Pay online and print receipt online.
    Go to Port Office, present your documents + Application Slip + Payment Receipt (or you can pay at the counter with postal-money RM100.00)... wait for few days. Check Online application status. Go collect at port office if online status is 'Ready For Collection'.

    Hi Admin,
    Please advice me how to book for an oral examination date for Class 1 COC online as I am a foreigner. Does 36 months sea time as WKE and 12 month sea time after Class 2 makes me eligible for undertaking my Class 1 COC?

    Hi Admin
    I have class4 coc from uk n presently sailing on tankers vessel.i want to appear for my class 2 in Malaysia ALAM college.my doubt is 1) for Oil/Chemical/Gas DCE for management level can I do Courses TASCO/CHEMCO/GASCO from India or need to do these courses in malaysia.
    2).If I take Coc from Malaysia is there any restrictions to go for sailing on different flag tanker vessel or this COC is acceptable on any Flag Vessels.please kindly reply me.my mail I'd is benven7782@yahoo.com

    Dear Sir,
    l am Mohammed Khairul Alam and holding Singapore Deck COC Class 2. I have cleared Deck COC Class 2 &1 (Combined mate, master-unlimited) written exam from Singapore Maritime Academy. Presently I have sea experienced about 52 months as a chief officer from Deck COC CLASS 2 (JULY/2010). I would like to appear exam DECK COC Class 1 oral in good Marine Department.
    Kindly advice me for LOE Deck class 1 Oral examination requirements.

    Hi All,
    To round up the requirement for a non-Malaysian seafarer taking up oral Examamination in Malaysia, he/she need to attend and complete the relevant courses at an approved Maritime Training Institution in Malaysia. See list of an approved-maritime-institution on tab 'COURSES' above.
    To be qualified to attend courses at those institution, you need to apply from those Institution. Then the Institution will submit an application to Marine Department of Malaysia for a letter of eligibility (a long process of verification on your certificates & documents done by Malaysia to you home/issuance Country).
